Homeowner Assistance Program

Additional Resources

Hardest Hit Program
The Obama Administration launched the Hardest Hit Fund to help homeowners avoid foreclosure in the areas hardest hit by steep home price declines and unemployment. Accordingly, the U.S. Treasury has made funds available to qualified borrowers in the states listed on this page. If you have been unable to get help from your mortgage servicer in the past, you may still be able to qualify for this program. Even if you are unemployed, you may be eligible for assistance. There is no cost to be reviewed for the program and no cost if you are eligible to participate.

If you need additional assistance on Hardest Hit, contact Genworth’s ActionCenter® at 800 444.5664 and select Option 2 and we will be happy to assist you. Also, this link to the U.S. Department of the Treasury will provide you with an overview of the Hardest Hit Fund Program:
